Not sure but it's a great area near Recoleta so if it's not there will be nearby cafes to hang out in and the market might be in place as New Year's Day is on the weekend.
This museum is closed for redecoration until 16 February 2015. Can trip advisor be advised please, as we had a wasted trip.
