Firefighters are racing to control a vegetation fire in San Bernardino, officials say. The blaze on Little Mountain Drive has reached about 30 acres, the San Bernardino County Fire Department said, sharing video of their engines working in the brush off the road.

As of 3:23 p.m., the fire had burned at least 10 acres, according to SDFD. No structures were threatened. According to a post on X/Twitter shortly before 4 p.m. by MCAS Miramar, the brush fire had grown to about 12 acres. The fire was located on the airfield located south of the runways on base, it said.

A man has been arrested in connection with a fire that erupted in the San Bernardino Mountains on Wednesday afternoon, while multiple wildfires continued to burn in Southern California and the region was under a red flag warning.
