A Pacific Palisades fire evacuee who lost his home in the fierce wildfire on Jan. 7 recently had the opportunity to thank the firefighter who saved his two dogs. Casey Colvin was working in the city when he learned of the Palisades fire evacuations last week.

Amid the Palisades fire chaos, a touching video surfaced of a man joyfully reuniting with his lost dog. Despite losing his home, the heartwarming moment of celebration during evacuation went viral on social media.

But one man who lost his home in the Palisades Fire had a happy ending when he was reunited with his beloved dog a full five days later. Casey Colvin was at work on Tuesday when evacuation orders were first handed down for Pacific Palisades residents.
