There were many boos, few cheers and another blowout defeat for Indiana men’s basketball (13-5, 4-3 Big Ten), which fell 94-69 to Illinois (13-4, 5-2 Big Ten) on Tuesday night at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall in Bloomington.

The 13th-ranked Illinois Fighting Illini hit the road in Big Ten play Tuesday night for a matchup with the Indiana Hoosiers at Assembly Hall.

Indiana will try to shake off its lopsided loss at Iowa as Illinois comes to town. To do so, the Hoosiers need better performances from their upperclassmen.
