Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Jacob Misiorowski has had quite the start to his Major League career. The 23-year-old tossed five hitless innings in his MLB debut on June 12 and took a perfect game into the seventh inning in his second start on Friday.

Two starts into his major-league career, Milwaukee Brewers rookie Jacob Misiorowski is already setting records. In outing number two, his 12 pitches of at least 101 MPH put him in the company of Cincinnati’s Hunter Greene and Boston’s Jordan Hicks as the only pitchers to ever record that many in a game.

With Misiorowski at 80 pitches and the Brewers up 8-0 after a seventh-inning rally, the team opted to leave him in to pitch the bottom of the seventh. That quickly went badly, with Misiorowski walking the leadoff batter on four pitches then allowing a two-run homer to Matt Wallner.
