Another earthquake of a relatively minor 2.0 magnitud e was recorded overnight in approximately the same spot as Monday’s 3.8-magnitude quake off the coast of Maine, according to the United State Geological Survey.

The U.S. Geological Survey is reporting a magnitude 3.8 earthquake that happened off the coast of southern Maine on Monday.According to the USGS, the earthquake happened at 10:22 a.m. just over 6.2 miles (10 kilometers) southeast of York Harbor.

YORK, Maine (WGME) -- Another small earthquake was reported off the coast of Maine on Wednesday morning. The United States Geologic Survey (USGS) reported a 2.0 magnitude earthquake occurred about 6 miles southeast of York Harbor. This was the same area where a 3.8 magnitude earthquake shook parts of Maine on Monday.
