Fallout continues after the Sixers dropped their Center City arena plans, only to strike a deal with Comcast to stay in South Philly as those impacted regret the time and energy lost fighting.

“HBSE and Comcast will also immediately focus on Market East, bringing together government officials and local stakeholders to develop a variety of options to revitalize a vital neighborhood in Center City where the 76ers had originally proposed locating the arena,” the release read.

Monday, the Sixers revealed more about the agreement, which includes a 50-50 joint venture to build a new, "world-class, state-of-the-art arena in the South Philadelphia Spots Complex that will be the new home of the Philadelphia 76ers and Philadelphia Flyers," in a press release.
