New Miami Dolphins quarterback Quinn Ewers became the face of the Texas Longhorns, but there was a time when Ohio State Buckeyes fans were optimistic the star could lead the program to a national title. After being a highly touted five-star quarterback, Ewers began his collegiate career at Ohio State.

He left for the NFL despite having a year of college eligibility remaining. Ewers is slotted to earn $4.3 million over four years with the Dolphins. Maybe he didn't want to stay at Texas with Arch Manning looming.
