Sebastian Stan earned a Best Actor nomination at this year's Oscars for playing the newly inaugurated U.S. president in "The Apprentice."

Jeremy Strong, known for his roles in "Succession" and "The Big Short," was nominated for an Oscar for his role in "The Apprentice," playing Roy Cohn, the mentor to Sebastian Stan 's Donald Trump in the film.

The film, which earned two Academy Award nominations, was the subject of controversy after premiering at Cannes.
