Football legend Diego Maradona’s former healthcare team has been brought to trial in Argentina, for alleged homicide by negligence charges and up to 25 years in prison following his death at age 60 in 2020.

Maradona, 60, was under the care of those professionals when he had a cardiac arrest in a house outside Buenos Aires on November 25 2020.
