Between the giant creatures, multiple on-screen characters, and a large map to explore, there's no question that Capcom's Monster Hunter Wilds is going to demand a lot of power from PCs. Now, less than a month away from the game's release, Capcom has shared a PC benchmark tool to show players how their computer measures up to the system specs.

Monster Hunter Wilds was announced with a reveal trailer shown at The Game Awards in 2023. With plenty of sweeping shots of what we now know as the Windward Plains and a stampede of Doshaguma, our first introduction to Monster Hunter Wilds was pretty much just a teaser.

As if Monster Hunter Wilds wasn't already threatening to devour every scrap of spare time we have for the first half of 2025, Capcom threw in another reason to spend hours and hours making our hunters look as cool as possible: Photo mode.

Capcom is running a beta across the next two weekends for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC players. The beta will have new content including Flagship monster Arkveld, and returning monster Gyperos as well as a new training area where you can solo play and test all of the weapons on offer.
