The Winnipeg Jets kick off a challenging three-game road trip against the Montreal Canadiens. During this three-game stretch, the Jets will face the Canadiens, Boston Bruins, and the league-leading Washington Capitals.

The Jets (34-14-3) have won three straight games thanks to a 5-2 victory over the Calgary Flames on Sunday. In that contest, Gabriel Vilardi scored twice and had four points, while Kyle Connor also found the back of the net (as part of a three-point performance), along with Mason Appleton and Mark Scheifele.

Montreal always seems to give Winnipeg a tough test, especially in their own building. The Jets lost 4-3 in a shootout during last year’s annual visit (Laurent Brossoit was in net), and fell 4-1 the previous season (with Hellebuyck between the pipes).
