The Los Angeles Rams have made the difficult decision to move on from Cooper Kupp, who ranks third in career receptions in team history. He put together a remarkable eight-year run in Los Angeles as a former third-round pick, winning Super Bowl MVP, Offensive Player of the Year and the receiving triple crown all in the 2021 season.

Kupp, 31, was designated as a post-June 1 cut which costs the Rams $14.78 million in dead cap in 2025 and $7.48 million in 2026. Kupp's release will save the Rams $15 million in cap space next season.
