Alien: Earth is the all-new original series expanding the Alien mythos - and it just got a new teaser. The brief clip is set on a spaceship hurtling towards Earth. We follow what appears to be a Xenomorph as it travels through clanging metallic corridors, the same sort found as far back as 1979's first Alien movie.

On January 27, FX and Disney (yeah, remember they own the Alien franchise now after buying Fox) released a new teaser for this summer’s Alien: Earth series. In the teaser, we watch a Xenomorph creature break out of containment while on board a ship that appears to be crashing on, wait!...oh no...EARTH! Here’s the teaser:

The Alien franchise is heading to the small screen this year, and following hot on the heels of the new Alien: Earth poster, FX has shared a teaser trailer for the sci-fi horror series from creator and showrunner Noah Hawley (Fargo) and executive producer Ridley Scott which gives us a look at the insides of

The teaser (which you can see above) follows a xenomorph racing through a human spacecraft, with emergency lights flickering red, and an automated voice repeating "Containment Breach". The footage puts viewers in the alien's shoes until it slams into a window, breaking the spell and showing the creatures' imminent arrival to Earth.
