Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency has been Donald Trump’s battering ram during the president’s first 100 days, slashing the federal government and trying to bend its remnants to Trump’s will.

Elon Musk told Tesla shareholders that he was ready to shift his focus away from the Trump-ordained "Department of Government Efficiency," otherwise known as DOGE, and return to his other business investments.

The Port of Los Angeles, the largest port in the U.S., predicts a 35% drop in shipments, nearly all from China, in a matter of weeks. Google has told some remote workers that their jobs could be at risk if they don't start attending the office three days per week.
