Nominations for the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Film Awards are in, with Conclave and Emilia Pérez leading this year's nominees. Conclave, starring Ralph Fiennes, is up for 12 awards,

Anora, The Brutalist, Conclave and Emilia Perez also scored best director nominations this morning for Sean Baker, Brady Corbet, Edward Berger and Jacques Audiard. They are joined in the category by Dune: Part Two director Denis Villeneuve and The Substance filmmaker Carolie Fargeat.

Other leading contenders include the 215-minute postwar epic “The Brutalist,” with nine nominations, including best film and leading actor for Adrien Brody.

Wicked's Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, recent Golden Globe winners Demi Moore and Kieran Culkin, and other big names including Timothee Chalamet, Hugh Grant, Saoirse Ronan and Sebastian Stan are among 24 stars nominated in the performance categories.
