The Sabres entered the third period of their contest against the Calgary Flames on Thursday tied but allowed three goals in a 5-2 loss at the Scotiabank Saddledome.

Tage Thompson has scored in three consecutive games and leads the Sabres with 22 goals. He has recorded at least one point in his last seven games against Calgary.
