Traded this offseason for a 2025 fifth-round pick, Milton found himself swapped out of a rigid Patriots system and dropped into a Cowboys offense he calls “fast” and “explosive.” It reminds him of his college days, he said – and that’s clearly a good thing.

In 2024, the Patriots used the third overall pick on Drake Maye and a sixth-rounder on Milton. New coach Mike Vrabel traded Milton before the offseason program began and after the team signed veteran Joshua Dobbs to back up Maye.
