U.S. Senator Ashley Moody (R-FL) delivered a passionate endorsement of Attorney General nominee Pam Bondi during a U.S. Senate Committee on the Judiciary business meeting, where Bondi’s nomination was advanced to the full Senate for confirmation.

Now that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has selected Attorney General Ashley Moody to replace Marco Rubio in the Senate, the state soon will need a new chief state legal officer. That person will be DeSantis' chief of staff, James Uthmeier, DeSantis said.
