The Chicago Bears have found their new coordinators under first-year head coach Ben Johnson.

Dennis Allen was fired as the Saints head coach on Nov. 3 and will now run the defense for new coach Ben Johnson in Chicago.

When looking ahead to free agency in March, the edge rushing position is a huge need that the Chicago Bears will need to fill. Ever since the team acquired Montez Sweat from the Washington in 2023, there hasn’t been much help to go alongside him.

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Former New Orleans Saints head coach Dennis Allen has been hired as the defensive coordinator for the Chicago Bears, according to a report from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Several players who had roles in the Saints defense of new Bears defensive coordinator Dennis Allen could be available should his new team need to plug lineup holes in free agency.
