Perkins Coie risks losing clients over President Donald Trump’s threat to terminate federal contracts for companies doing business with the law firm.

President Donald Trump has suspended the security clearances for a firm that worked for his 2016 election rival, Hillary Clinton. Trump has repeatedly blocked security clearances for lawyers who worked for his perceived enemies.

President Trump signed an executive order Thursday suspending the security clearances of employees who work at Perkins Coie – the powerhouse Democratic law firm that played a key role in commissioning the so-called Steele dossier .
