SPOKANE, Wash. - Gonzaga University names Dr. Katia Passerini as new President effective July 15. Dr. Katia Passerini currently works at Seton Hall as the Provost and Senior Executive Vice President. She will succeed Thayne M. McCulloh, D.Phil who will step down in July prior to her arrival.

SPOKANE, Wash. -- Gonzaga University announced Wednesday that Dr. Katia Passerini is the newest university president. Dr. Passerini will take over the position from Dr. Thayne M. McCulloh when he steps down in July of this year after serving as the president for the past 16 years.

Gonzaga University has named its 27th president, Katia Passerini, who will succeed Thayne M. McCulloh effective July 15.
