Greg Olsen has been sidelined from his top analyst role at FOX Sports in favor of Tom Brady, who was offered a $375 million contract. Though Brady's debut received criticism for his commentary, Olsen remains optimistic about his future.

Fox made a big splash when it decided to offer Tom Brady a 10-year, $375 million contract to be the network’s lead NFL analyst despite no broadcasting experience. The move was even more puzzling given that Fox had to demote an actual broadcasting star in Greg Olsen to make room for Brady.

A couple of weeks ago, I stated in Traina Thoughts that it was a disservice to NFL fans that Fox’s Greg Olsen was not behind a microphone for postseason games. My comment had nothing to do with Tom Brady because I totally understand why Fox decided to get involved in the Tom Brady business.
