J.T. Miller is going back to where it all began. On Friday, the New York Rangers acquired the star forward from the Vancouver Canucks along with defenseman Erik Brannstrom and defenseman prospect Jackson Dorrington.

Blueshirts also shipped prospect defenseman Victor Mancini and a protected first-round draft pick to Vancouver. The Rangers also received Jackson Dorrington and Erik Brannstrom in the deal, according to multiple reports.

Miller heads back to New York, where he spent the first six seasons of his career, in exchange for Filip Chytil, Victor Mancini and a 2025 top-13 protected first-round pick. Vancouver prospects Erik Brannstrom and Jackson Dorrington also went to the Rangers in the deal. Vancouver’s return was reported by the New York Post.
