Rock Hall-inducted legends were set to take stage for last time at London's Hyde Park on Sunday. However, doctors advised Lynne "that performing is simply not possible at this time"

Lynne, the frontman of the British rock band Electric Light Orchestra (ELO), was supposed to have his last live performance — and headline — at the BST Hyde Park festival on Sunday and was closing out his “Over and Out” farewell tour. However, it’s canceled due to his health issues.

The cancellation brings an unexpected end to a tour that was meant to close the chapter on Lynne’s five-decade career. He had first returned to live touring with a comeback show at Hyde Park in 2014 and had described this weekend’s gig as the perfect way to say goodbye.
