A radar-confirmed tornado struck Lake Mary in Seminole County on Monday morning. The tornado was captured moving across Interstate 4 just north of Orlando, as it whipped through Lake Mary and into Sanford.

A tornado touched down Monday in Seminole County, collapsing a home in Longwood and overturning a tractor-trailer in Lake Mary, officials told WKMG in Orlando.

A confirmed tornado was spotted in Lake Mary and Sanford, Florida, north of Orlando. FOX 35 Orlando reports the tornado moved across I-4 possibly damaging their studio in Lake Mary. The Tornado-warned storm continues to move to the east toward the coast on Monday morning.

The twister with winds near 70 mph was recoded at 9:30 a.m. in Lake Mary, a city about 19 miles north of Orlando. At the time, a tornado warning was in effect for Sumter County, but it has since expired.
