As the Big South Conference looks to make Johnson City its home for 2025, city officials expect the upcoming March games to generate significant amounts of revenue on multiple fronts.

CHARLESTON – The Big South Conference released its preseason accolades and coaches’ poll on Wednesday afternoon, selecting a pair of Buccaneers to the All-Conference Team. Additionally, Charleston Southern was picked to finish in 5th by the league’s head coaches.

The Ohio Valley Conference-Big South Football Association announced its 2025 slate on Tuesday as all nine teams will play an eight-game conference schedule between weeks 5 and 13.

Radford Highlanders (8-13, 5-3 Big South) at South Carolina Upstate Spartans (5-16, 2-6 Big South) Spartanburg, South Carolina; Saturday, 4 p.m. EST BOTTOM LINE: Big South foes South Carolina Upstate and Radford meet on Saturday.

The Presbyterian Blue Hose will host conference opponent Winthrop. The teams meet Wednesday for the first time this season.

Taje' Kelly had 25 points and 17 rebounds in Charleston Southern's 82-75 win over South Carolina Upstate on Wednesday night. Kelly also contributed seven assists for the Buccaneers (7-16, 3-5 Big South Conference).
