Norsota Sons of Norway Lodge is planning an afternoon of Norwegian folk music and traditional dance performances Saturday, March 1, 1:30-4:15 p.m. at Falcon Ridge Middle School in Apple Valley.

Oakley led four Magic Valley schools with winter sports academic state championships with titles in 4A dance and 2A girls basketball, the Idaho High School Activities Association announced Friday.

The ice skating rink in the Carol and Jim Laub Plaza will be melting away, following its final ice skating session on Monday.

The students impacted are all seeking careers in special education.
