With the Bruins continuing to struggle, the chatter around them potentially becoming sellers only increases. Several Bruins have come up in the rumor mill but captain and pending unrestricted free agent Brad Marchand is easily the biggest name of the bunch.

The Boston Bruins find themselves outside of a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference standings after an embarrassing 6-2 loss to the Winnipeg Jets on home ice Thursday night. The B’s trail both the Tampa Bay Lightning and Columbus Blue Jackets by one point in the wild card race,

The B’s erased a two-goal deficit early in the third period, only to give up two goals to the Western Conference-Winnipeg Jets in 42 seconds and three in the first 5:56 of the third. The Jets then cruised to a 6-2 victory over the B’s.

The Bruins will be making some interesting changes to their lineup for this matchup against Winnipeg. Most notably, star defenseman Charlie McAvoy will return to the Bruins' lineup against Winnipeg, with Mason Lohrei as his partner.
