Austin Capobianco and John P. Hansen, the New York Yankees fans who interfered with Los Angeles Dodgers outfield Mookie Betts' attempt to catch a foul ball during Game 4 of the 2024 World Series, were banned from MLB games for life.

The two fans stole headlines during the World Series when they interfered with Betts in the first inning of Game 4. As Betts ran to the right field line and made a grab on a pop out by Yankees second baseman Gleyber Torres, one of the fans reached into the Dodgers star’s glove and the other yanked on his wrist.
