A release date is officially set for the Resident Evil movie from Barbarian director Zach Cregger as various producers join the project.

This new addition to the popular horror series will be directed by Zach Cregger, who is also co-writing the script alongside Shay Hatten.The upcoming movie is being produced by Constantin Film, which has been involved with the 'Resident Evil' films since the very beginning.
