City of Bloomington Utilities (CBU) crews were dispatched to repair a broken water main at West Oak Leaf and South

Repairs to a water gate valve have prompted a boil water advisory in Kalamazoo Township. The advisory is in effect on both sides of Upland Drive from Gertrude Street on the north to E. Main Street on the south.

Officials said the water system may be at an increased risk from microbial contamination due to a drop or loss of water pressure from a water main break or leak.

The city has issued a boil water advisory for part of Flint’s south side because of a water main break. The boil water advisory covers an area from Dort Highway on the east to Red Arrow Road on the west and from Atherton Road on the north to Hemphill Road on the south.

Halifax Water is looking at improving communications with Nova Scotia Power and clarifying protocols for issuing municipal and provincial alerts and advisories after a two-day disruption in water service last month.

Residents of the 200 block of West Orange Street should boil their water before using it as the city repairs a water main break near their homes.

The boil water advisory was issued as a precaution after a waterline break that caused pressure loss, officials said.

Eastern Bartholomew Water Corp. has notified customers of a water outage in the Hammer Heights Addition.  A 6-inch water main in that area was damaged by another utility company. This will also include customers on South County Road 600E,

A Facebook post from the Village of Fredonia Monday night said the advisory is in place after a pipe burst at the Water Treatment Plant.

The city of Harlan, Iowa is under a water boil advisory after a water main break. The advisory is a precaution for those living south of the intersection of Highway 58 and 900th street.
