Auburn forward Johni Broome has had a phenomenal collegiate career and will be ready for the next step of his basketball journey next season. In the latest NBA mock draft by The Athletic, Broome will head north to play for the Boston Celtics, who are projected to take Broome with the 28th overall pick in the 2025 NBA draft.

The university announced Johni Broome’s injury as a non-surgical ankle sprain. Bruce Pearl confirmed Monday that there is no timetable on his return.
