There are no shortage of Pittsburgh Steelers fans who want the team to go in a different direction at quarterback after Russell Wilson struggled down the stretch. However, it appears Wilson still has the support of head coach Mike Tomlin,

With the Pittsburgh Steelers' disappointing season ending in Baltimore, the question of who is leading the offense in the 2025 season can no longer be pushed to the side as much as Mike Tomlin may want.

Pittsburgh had the No. 20 overall pick in 2024 and selected former Washington offensive tackle Troy Fautanu. Fautanu was supposed to be the starter that fixed the Steelers issues at offensive tackle but a knee injury in September ended up landing him on IR and missing the entire season.

NFL Draft class is not one likely to incite multiple trades up on draft night. There is a limited supply of blue-chip talent and those teams in position to nab one are not going to be quick to trade out.

The Pittsburgh Steelers were recently eliminated from the NFL playoffs by the Baltimore Ravens. Going one-and-done in the playoffs is already a difficult way to end a season, but it likely feels worse when a division rival is responsible.
