Fresh from an overdue road win in Atlantic Coast Conference play, Notre Dame basketball looks to build on it back at home against Georgia Tech

The Pack Line, as Virginia fans once knew it, no longer exists. Notre Dame shredded the Virginia D en route to a 74-59 win.

The UVA Basketball team, in need of another win in its quest for an ACC Tournament bid, hosts Notre Dame on Saturday (6:30 p.m. ET, ESPN2).

Prior to Saturday night’s victory, the Fighting Irish were 0-9 all-time against the Cavaliers at John Paul Jones Arena.

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (WVIR) - Markus Burton scored a game-high 21 points leading Notre Dame to its first ever win over Virginia at John Paul Jones Arena 74-59. Notre Dame had a record of 0-9 at JPJ coming into the game. Virginia trailed the entire game. Notre Dame led by 12 at halftime.

Virginia (9-10, 2-6 ACC) hosts Notre Dame (8-10, 2-5 ACC) in ACC action on Saturday, Jan. 25. Tipoff at sold-out John Paul Jones Arena is set for 6:30 p.m. on ESPN2.
