Whether Nissan launches its next-generation R36 GT-R with an electric powertrain remains to be seen, but the automaker has already built at least one electric GT-R. It's a conversion based on the R32-generation Skyline GT-R of the early 1990s, and it was just unveiled over the weekend at the 2025 Tokyo Auto Salon.

At Tokyo Auto Salon 2025, Toyota showcased three standout iterations of the GR Yaris, each representing a unique vision for performance and innovation — namely the GR Yaris (NÜR 24h), M Concept and Aero Package Prototype.

TOM'S Racing will show a tuned GR Yaris hot hatch, Crown Sport crossover, and Land Cruiser 250 SUV at the upcoming Tokyo Auto Salon.

The three-day event gives you a window into a far, far cooler Yaris than you ever saw in the United States, among other cars well worth seeing.
