After a week off, it appears Guardians closer Emmanuel Clase is back to his old shutdown self. This time it came in a thrilling win over the Twins.

It was a long day’s journey into night at Progressive Field on Tuesday. Most of it had to do with a nearly rainless rain delay that lasted over three hours. Then there was the game, which lasted until the bottom of the ninth inning when slumping Kyle Manzardo ended things with a leadoff homer to give the Guardians a 2-1 victory over the Twins.
