Nov 9, 2024 · Plus they weren't being constantly sued like Uber and Lyft are, the taxi owners would just send a message to irate customers and they would back the f down. 😆 Uber and Lyft especially are just f-ed. Drivers are dropping like flies, especially if we get a good republican government that will create jobs and stimulate the economy.

Aug 31, 2024 · Uber definately had or has a GPS or network problem. I have a couple of regular passengers that I take to work and pick up after work to take home. Last week I parked outside their home and workplace and was not matched with them. instead, other Ubers from kilometres away turned up.

But most importantly, just change the google map settings to avoid toll road, you can do it easily in settings to change whatever you want, even voice directions.

Nov 24, 2024 · The algorithm of course doesn't have realistic expectations for how to get to a passenger. That, or Uber just wants an excuse not to give out cancel fees. I also frequently get the "looks like you're making a detour, Rider May cancel " message when Uber GPS wants to route me through a closed gate or the wrong way down a one-way street.
