Nvidia Ion was a product line of Nvidia Corporation intended for motherboards of low-cost portable computers. It used graphics processing units and chipsets intended for small products.

The ION was a mobile integrated graphics solution by NVIDIA, launched on June 3rd, 2008. Built on the 65 nm process, and based on the C79 graphics processor, the device supports DirectX 11.1. Even though it supports DirectX 11, the feature level is only 10_0, which can be problematic with many DirectX 11 & DirectX 12 titles.
