But Sunshine should keep working normally, and doesn't even depend on having an Nvidia card in the first place -- you can use it with AMD or Intel GPUs too. And at this point, I think Sunshine offers a much better experience than GeForce Experience ever did, as long as you're tech-savvy enough to configure it in its web interface.

Nov 26, 2020 · When I install nvidia drivers, I only install the drivers and not the junk Geforce Experience. No extra processes running, I'm smart enough to go to their site to manually check for new drivers, I don't need it to auto adjust my games because I'm smart enough to manually tweak my games and I don't use it for streaming.

May 1, 2020 · It is persisting between restarts and full shut down and powering back on. I also use Nvidia Broadcast. What fixed it for me: Open services > scroll down to NVIDIA Local system Container > right click > properties > change the Startup type to Automatic (Delayed Start). Set your input in shadowplay as it should be, then give it a reboot.

Feb 23, 2024 · SpecialK is still a decent option, but if nvidia's version goes higher accurately, it would look better, especially compared to if you are trying to force SpecialK's settings past it's tone mapper's limitations (though the nvidia RTX HDR would have a performance hit by comparison apparently). Jul 4, 2022 · NVIDIA automatically overclocks 2000-3000 series cards by running tests of voltage until it finds a stable overclock. The only downside I could assume is it raises power usage/voltage slightly. But overall, its worth it for the performance.

Nov 6, 2020 · The FPS counter/rest of the nvidia overlay just doesn't show automatically anymore and you have to toggle it using alt + r Where as before it would just autodetect the game was running and toggle itself on and if you wanted to turn it off you'd have to do alt + z and go in overlay layout and turn off fps counter.
